When most people think of the Red Cross, they think "disaster relief." In our community of Mid Coast Maine, most often that means our volunteers and staff are responding to a residential fire - the #1 disaster Red Cross chapters respond to every year.  Your local Red Cross does even more - working hard to provide the services and training our friends and neighbors depend on to prepare for and prevent disasters.  With your support we're able to take immediate action to relieve suffering, provide hope, and make our entire community a safer, healthier place to live.
